Mold Save a Life Appeal Website

We were truly pleased to be chosen to provide a website for this initiative.

The Mold Save a Life Appeal was organised by Mold Town Council and has seen 25 public defibrillators being made available around the community. This incredible achievement may one day save somebody’s life, so naturally we were pleased to be asked to create a website for them.

This website had a unique challenge with the brief being to provide a very simplistic website with some advanced functionality which was to include an interactive map showing where the defibrillators are located.

Achieving The Brief

JKCWS worked hard on this website to ensure that it was as easy to use as possible. The main focus of this website is the full page map on the main screen, with a smart search box that allows the user to search their location and find the nearest defibrillators.

We additionally added an algorithm that showed users which defibrillator is the closest to them on the results page and added a navigation button that would open up directions to the defibrillator.

This website has also been created in such a way that it can have defibrillators added easily in the future, including a submission form so that other local businesses and organisations can have their defibrillators added to this valuable tool.
